Yaku is born in one of the most dangerous districts of Bogota (the capital of Colombia). On the daily plan there is violence, drug & alcohol abuse, poverty, robbery, gang warfares, blood, murder & the constant fight for survival. The police is not able to get inside the ghetto & if they do, so they do not get out again with life. Hardly any child managed to go to a more or less good school & even less finished such. Almost all of them automatically also slipped into criminality or prematurely into the grave.
Hanna is born in Pocking, a rural region of Bavaria in Germany. A homestead, a working father, a caring mother, kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, sports club & the socially popular lake just around the corner: from the beginning there was everything it needs for a protected childhood & youth without any worries.
Without exception all of his friends are meanwhile dead, seriously injured or involuntarily working for the guerrilla unit. Yaku decides to leave his "home place" & commits himself to the Colombian military.
When Yaku is offered a promotion inside the army, he senses that this cannot be his path: Out of violence with arms & violence? No. He decides to leave behind whole Colombia, his family as well as any questionable way of gaining money. With this decision made begins for him a more than 20 year long journey of self-discovery, (survival) art & daily learning.
As Hanna soon noticed that the "Psychology, Bachelor of Science - studies" unfortunately does not answer all her questions about life, the big "Why?", the constant "Who am I?" and so forth, she decided to skip the fifth semester to go traveling during this time. She discovered Brasil, peregrinated through Bolivia and finally landed in Peru - a country that fascinated her from the very beginning & eventually & calmly knew how to respond all of her questions.

Also Yaku was in Iquitos, Peru at that time - somewhere in our beautifully huge rain forest. However, their paths weren't meant to cross at that moment.
Hanna converted into a certified psychologist with some practical experience & a little seed capital. In order to go on studying life in depth, she flew back inside the Peruvian jungle.​
Hanna & Yaku meet in a self-sufficient community right in the middle of the amazonian rainforest. One hug later they fall in love with each other & from then on go hand in hand. Both of them knew it at once:
"This is the love of my life."
All preparations have been completed, bureaucratic obstacles cleared out & also the right contacts were already there:
